Crypto market data, measured by Edgetrail

Numbers we measure ourselves from the exchanges’ public APIs – dated, with the method and the known gaps.

Short answer

Edgetrail publishes data it measures itself from the public APIs of Bybit, Binance, OKX, Coinbase and Hyperliquid: how far back 1-minute candles go for 5,935 trading markets and the top 50 coins, base-tier trading fees, the funding interval of every crypto perpetual and how often Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana take the previous day’s high or low. The latest snapshot was taken on 4 November 2026, 16:18 UTC and is refreshed monthly; all data is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0.

This website shows two market counts: on 4 November 2026, 16:18 UTC Edgetrail counted 4,952 crypto markets – the figure used for replay everywhere – and 5,935 markets in total, because Bybit, Binance and OKX also list 983 stock, ETF, commodity and FX contracts.

Data pages

Every market type behind these numbers can be replayed candle by candle; the exchange pages for Bybit, Binance, OKX and Coinbase list them.

Method and limits

The figures come from the same public endpoints Edgetrail’s bar replay uses, fetched by a script with a polite pace and retries; the build of this website only reads the saved snapshot. Market counts include only markets trading at the time of measurement; first candles are measured for the top 50 coins and every BTC and ETH market, not for every market; gaps inside a history are not counted. Fees are copied from each exchange’s official fee page and linked as sources. Each page states its own measuring time and known gaps.
