Short answer
Edgetrail imports the closed P&L of your USDT perpetuals from Bybit straight from your browser – your API key stays on your device and never reaches the Edgetrail server. The trades land in the journal in “from the exchange” mode, net after fees, ready for statistics per system: expectancy, profit factor, win rate, R and drawdown.
How to connect Bybit
There are two ways. Without a key: on Bybit open Orders → Derivatives (Unified Trading) → Closed P&L, click Export, choose the period (at most 6 months per export, up to 2 years back) and load the file into Edgetrail – CSV or Excel, several at once; duplicates are skipped. With a read-only API key: on Bybit go to Profile → API → Create new key → System-generated; Edgetrail fetches your closed trades directly. A read-only key can neither trade nor withdraw.
What is imported – and the limits
The file export covers up to 2 years back; the API import fetches your closed trades in weekly steps, as Bybit allows at most 7 days per request. What happens to your key
Every request is signed in your browser and sent directly to Bybit, never via our server. The key is kept for the current session only; it stays on the device only if you tick “Keep on this device”, and it is removed when you sign out. Details are in the security overview.

Assign trades to a system, add screenshots, tags, mistakes and notes, and let the calendar, equity curve and analytics do the rest. Every figure is calculated to eight decimal places and shows its sample size.
