What’s new in Edgetrail
Changes you can see in the app, newest first.
Short answer
The latest Edgetrail update, on 23 October 2026, keeps your account readable after the trial instead of locking it – view and export everything, choose a plan to keep journaling. The update before brought bar replay on four exchanges – Bybit, Binance, OKX and Coinbase – plus a better phone layout, read-only exchange keys and a withdrawal button. This page lists every change you can see in the app, newest first; internal and server work is left out. New entries also appear in the RSS feed.

After the trial: read-only instead of locked
When the 14-day trial or a paid plan ends, your account now stays readable: trades, journal and analytics remain visible, and you can export everything as CSV or JSON at any time. Adding or changing entries, imports, Replay and Edge Lab need a plan; choosing one unlocks everything right where you left off.

Bar replay on Bybit, Binance, OKX and Coinbase
Replay now plays real candles from four exchanges – 4,952 crypto markets across nine market types, from 1-minute to weekly candles. In the market picker you choose the exchange first, then the market type. If an exchange does not serve market data in your location, Edgetrail tells you and suggests another one.
Better on the phone, CSV export in Settings
Phones get a bottom bar with “More”, trades shown as cards and a replay that fits small screens. An offline indicator shows when the connection drops, Esc closes every dialog, and the measure tool in replay sits on the M key. Settings now has a direct CSV export of your trades.
Only read-only exchange keys
Where the exchange allows it, Edgetrail checks the permissions of a Bybit, OKX or Binance key before fetching and refuses keys that can trade or withdraw. A saved key with too many rights is removed from the device.
Withdraw from a contract in a few clicks
A “Withdraw from contract” link sits in the footer of the app and the website and in Settings, and the confirmation email records when you withdrew. Purchase emails now state the price, the renewal and how to cancel, and you get a reminder before a subscription renews.
The app speaks British English; product news only if you opt in
The app and its emails now run in British English throughout; the German website stays. Product updates and short surveys by email are off unless you tick the box at sign-up or switch them on in Settings.

A new checkout in Edgetrail colours
Payment now happens in an embedded Stripe checkout in Edgetrail’s colours; the seller is Link, LLC (“Sold through Link”, a Stripe subsidiary). The plan picker marks the plan you are on, buying needs a confirmed email address so your receipt arrives, and the cancellation confirmation says clearly that you are done.

Signed-in devices, sign-in alerts and safer account deletion
Settings → Account lists every signed-in device with browser, system and last activity; sign out one device or all others. When a new device signs in, your confirmed email address gets a notice. Deleting your account takes your password plus a confirmation link sent by email.
6 October 2026
Fetch trades from Binance, OKX and Hyperliquid
Next to Bybit, Edgetrail now fetches closed trades from Binance (USDⓈ-M futures), OKX (perpetuals) and Hyperliquid (wallet address only). Keys and addresses stay in your browser, and requests go straight to the exchange. Every other exchange works via file import (CSV or Excel) with columns detected automatically.
Prop firm challenge mode
Switch it on under Settings → Features and enter account size, daily loss limit, static or trailing drawdown, profit target and minimum trading days. A dashboard card shows the target, what is still allowed today, the drawdown buffer and your trading days, and warns at 75% and 100% of each limit.
4 October 2026
Edgetrail Pro and a 14-day free trial
One product with every feature in every plan: $24 a month, $199 a year, or $99 once for the first 50 Founders. New accounts get 14 days free without a credit card.
A new tour and a “Getting started” list
The tour now follows the path of a new user – sample data or an empty start, first system, first trade, checklist, daily analysis – and always fits the screen. On the dashboard, “Getting started” lists the first steps and ticks them off by itself.
3 October 2026
Easier sign-up and sign-in
No more maths puzzle: the bot check now runs invisibly in the background. Sign-up asks for the password twice, has an eye to show it and a strength meter, suggests a fix for typos in common email domains and works with password managers.
2 October 2026
Share and reorder your checklist
Share your checklist as a morning plan or an evening review, in phone or desktop format, as an image or copied. Tasks can be dragged by their handle or moved with the arrow keys, and the order you set is kept.
28 September 2026
A Goals page and a menu in the order of your day
The new Goals page holds the daily checklist and the week with Goalcrushers. The menu now follows the trading day: Dashboard, Goals, Daily Analysis, Trades, Calendar, Analytics, Systems, Edge Lab – the former “Journal” page is now called Daily Analysis.
Bybit trades from a file, no key needed
Load Bybit’s Closed P&L export as CSV or Excel, several files at once; columns and time zone are recognised and duplicates are skipped. In replay, every system now keeps its own session – market, timeframe, drawings and indicators – and its own backtest journal.
26 September 2026
Replay drawing tools and the position tool
Replay gets a toolbar with lines, Fibonacci, shapes, text and measuring tools, favourites, and settings for every drawing – colours, line styles, Fibonacci levels, coordinates and visibility per timeframe. The long/short position tool fills only on candles after you draw it, resolves a stop and target in the same candle with 1-minute data, and books the finished trade into your backtest journal.
Follow the changes
Subscribe to the RSS feed in any feed reader. Missing something, or found a bug? Write to support@edgetrail.app. How the imports work in detail is described for Bybit, Hyperliquid and the CSV import. The exact fill rule of the replay – including what happens when stop and target sit in one candle – is in stop and target in the same candle, and every formula behind the statistics is on the methodology page. Journalists find facts, logos and screenshots in the press kit.
