Import trades from any broker via CSV

No direct connection to your exchange? A CSV file is enough.

Short answer

Edgetrail imports trades from any exchange, broker or spreadsheet that can export a CSV file. You choose the file, Edgetrail detects the separator, suggests which column is the date, symbol, side, entry, exit, size, fees and realised P&L, and you confirm or change the mapping. Symbol plus either the realised P&L or entry, exit and size are enough; if a P&L column exists, the exchange’s exact value is used.

Columns Edgetrail recognises

Edgetrail looks for common names in English and German, for example: date or time; symbol, pair, contract or market; side or direction; entry or open price; exit or close price; qty, size or amount; fee or commission; closed P&L, realized PnL or profit; order type; account. Comma, semicolon and tab separators work, and decimal commas are understood.

Step by step

  1. Export your trades from the exchange or broker as CSV.
  2. In Edgetrail open Settings → Import and choose the file.
  3. Check the suggested mapping and fix anything that is off.
  4. Import. Incomplete rows are listed as skipped, duplicates are skipped automatically.

Exchanges without a direct import

BingX, Bitget, MEXC, KuCoin, Gate and OKX EU do not allow browser requests to their API, so they work through their CSV export. Bybit, Binance (USDⓈ-M futures), OKX and Hyperliquid also have a direct import. Which brokers can I import via CSV?

Any broker or exchange that exports trades as CSV. Edgetrail maps the columns with you, so the file does not need a special format.

What does the CSV need at minimum?

A symbol and either the realised P&L or entry price, exit price and size. Date, side, fees, order type and account are optional but recommended.
