Every market starts on the day Bybit listed it. Not counted: 313 contracts on stocks, ETFs, commodities and currencies that Bybit also lists.

How fast Bybit adds markets

Counts today’s listed markets of the types USDT and USDC perpetuals and futures and Inverse contracts (coin-margined) by the day of their first 1-minute candle; delisted markets are missing. Includes non-crypto contracts.

Symbols on Bybit

Bybit writes perpetuals and spot pairs the same way, for example BTCUSDT; USDC perpetuals end in PERP (BTCPERP) and inverse contracts in USD (BTCUSD). Funding and costs

Bybit settles funding on its perpetuals at different intervals. In the snapshot of 4 November 2026, 607 perpetuals with a funding rate were counted: 412 every 4 hours, 193 every 8 hours and 2 every hour. Replay results in Edgetrail don’t include funding payments, so check the interval of your market before you hold a backtest position across funding times; the funding fee calculator turns a rate into a cost. Live trades you import into the journal carry the result as Bybit booked it.
