Risk of trading

Trading financial instruments, derivatives, foreign exchange and cryptocurrencies involves considerable risk. Leveraged products in particular (e.g. futures, perpetuals, CFDs) can lead to losses that quickly exceed the capital employed. A large share of retail traders lose money. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose and seek independent professional advice if needed.

Hypothetical results

Backtests and replays show hypothetical results. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, account for fees, slippage, liquidity and execution only in a simplified way and are not subject to the psychological pressure of real trading. They are not a reliable indicator of future results. The same applies to past results from your journal.

Data and calculations

All metrics are based on the data you enter or import and on market data from public sources, which may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for the accuracy of your input and for interpreting the results. No guarantee is given that the calculations are free of errors.
